Where Has Loyalty Gone?

IMG00084-20090619-1940 (3)

This sign made me smile and wonder-what kind of client loyalty does this shop wish to achieve?

They may think they are bringing in new business by having a special and at first–it is a good grabber.

However–what about the clients that come week after week and refer others because they are giving their endorsement and continual money. Why are they not getting some type of reward or incentive?

I walked in to inquire and the owner just looked at me and said–"this is only good for a first time client–not our 'repeats'."  When I tried to ask him his strategy on this type of offer, he just brushed me off. I asked if there was any type of special for his "loyal" customers and he said–"NO".

As I walked out, I made a note to check back in another month to see if they are still in business.

Very good observation! I will be curious to see if the salon is still open next month.
