Last week I had the great opportunity to be back in Ft. Lauderdale to speak at the Florida Direct Marketing Association chapter meeting. It was special for many reasons–it was their 30th year since being founded by my dear friend Bob Dunhill and other associates that make South Florida their home.
I got to see Bob, his great daughter Candy and her husband Rich, (see our picture below) and my good friend Lois Geller and many other great people.
For those who are not familiar with Direct Marketing–you get it everyday via mail, Internet, phone–you name it! The true description is the art and science of sending one to one promotional messages directly to consumers, rather than via a mass medium such as print advertising. Direct marketing include direct mail, email, catalogs, telemarketing and everything now that is on line.
