Sailing Through the Panama Canal

IMG00265-20100219-0810
Today was a wonderful experience as our ship went through the Panama Canal– very interesting to learn the history of the Canal and the locks. We are lucky to have Richard Morgan on board who has been the destination lecturer and has given us the full history through his 25 year experience with the Panama Canal and living in Panama.

The weather is so hot and I know I won't get sympathy from my pals on the East coast—however it is beautiful with amazing scenery.

Tomorrow we are at the sea and will also hear Former FBI Criminal Profiler, Clint Van Zandt speak on some of the 'unsolved crimes' we have all read about.

The trip continues to be wonderful and meeting terrific people–some who live around the  corner to my apartment in New York.

For all of you who have wished me a great birthday tomorrow on Face book–thank you, so much and I will personally thank you very soon.

🙂
