Ilene B. Greene — One of New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business
Ilene B. Greene, President of MarketShare?Communications Inc., has been named one of New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ, a New Jersey weekly business magazine. She is also a dear friend and she and her partner and husband Ted Polmar designed my new website and are true marketing professionals. Here she is on the left with Sally Glick-a partner with Sobel-CPA and a recipient of the award last year.
The Best 50 Women in Business awards program honors New Jersey’s most dynamic women in business that have been making headlines in their respective professions.
Ilene has been the visionary at the helm of MarketShare for over 20 years. Over the years, she has been a fixture on the NJ advertising scene, involved in a variety of industry opportunities. She was selected as the inaugural president of the newly formed NJ Advertising Club in 1992 and during her reign helped to increase membership greatly. She also chaired the prestigious Jersey Awards and raise substantial funds for scholarships. As an active participant of Career Day for many years she believes in fostering the field of advertising and marketing in order to prepare young people to succeed in the industry. Ilene is a member of the Association of Women in Communications and active in the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ), where she sits on the advisory panels of the Women’s Leadership Council and Small Business Council. She is also actively involved with Temple Beth Am in Parsippany, NJ.

We are organizing a fund raiser in Princeton, NJ on October 3rd , 2009 titled “Super Mom 2009”. This event is to recognize and appreciate the efforts of the mother who is juggling work, home and children.300-400 moms are encouraged to not only showcase their skills in a variety of activities ranging from FITNESS to GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, but to also enjoy themselves with their peers. There is a 5K Run, Talent round as well as Fashion show planned. The evening will be rounded off with a live music/dance performance and crowning of the “Super Mom 2009”.
I am reaching out to you to understand if there are any recommendations regarding women who can be judging this event i.e. leading women in business or politics or media etc.
