One of the most rewarding parts of my business is when I get a note from someone who says that something I wrote or said made a difference in their life and work.
I just received this lovely note from Sylvia Dörf linger from Vienna who has her own image consulting business in Austria and has developed a program called 'The Styling Pyramide" which helps women look their best in five easy steps. (Sylvia–how do I sign up!)
Sylvia actually found out about my book through one of the top marketing people in the United States–Robert Middleton who I have tremendous respect for.

It is especially your 2-2-2 strategy which has indeed impressed me. And I was so surprised: it immediately worked on the first networking event I was attending!
Some days ago, there was a presentation held by one of the most known stylists and trend-scouts in Austria which was arranged by our Chamber of Commerce. I did not know her personally so far and so I sent an email to the head of the organization and asked him to introduce me to her – and it perfectly worked!!! I am so happy and I would like to tell you how much I like your book since there are such good and easy to follow tips in it. It is really "million times" worth reading it!

Very refreshing when in the midst of the financial crisis, there’s a lot of bashing and cynicism
towards performance recognition and inspirational efforts in the workplace.
Just check any bar in lower Manhattan! It’s a shame.
