Negotiating Women, Inc. Launches Meeting Toolkits for Women’s Networks and Affinity Groups

As budgets and jobs continue to be slashed, the fate of many employee programs, including women’s resource groups and initiatives, are still to be determined. To help law companies and professional organizations that serve women maintain the momentum of initiatives previously put into place, Negotiating Women, Inc. is launching the Just Add Womenâ Meeting Toolkit Series. The new program delivers a cost-effective solution for those still committed to implementing professional development programs for women.

Carol Frohlinger explains, “Many companies made some progress in implementing and advocating programs that promote diversity and help women overcome many of the barriers that they face.  They recognize how these efforts have paid off in terms of retention and service to clients. While many organizations are now struggling, it’s critical that they not renege on the promises they’ve made. Women are watching and hoping that the commitments their employers made to support gender equity through women’s initiatives before the crisis are real ? that they won’t get put ‘on hold’ because things are tough.  The companies who keep the momentum going will not only protect the investment they’ve already made but will enhance their reputations as ‘Employers of Choice’ when things turn around”.

Each of the meeting topics deals with a challenge women face in the workplace:

  • Building A Strategic Network
  • Managing Complicated Conversations
  • Positioning Yourself for High Visibility Assignments
  • Building Client Relationships
  • Getting the Resources You Need
  • Getting and Giving Feedback

These highly interactive meetings are designed to be led  in-house and can be easily delivered via webcast. Meeting leaders are supported by:

  • Detailed Facilitators Guide
  • PowerPoint presentation (as required)
  • Meeting Attendee Materials
  • Facilitator Meeting Checklist
  • Sample email invitation describing the session
