Don’t be a Whistle Blower

Whistle_picture I learned a big lesson this weekend when I was doing a training session. As I had the groups doing exercises at their tables, I blew a whistle to gather everyone’s attention back after the breakouts.  This was not a good idea. For this group, I should have thought it out more and could have used a bell or even tapped a spoon against a glass. Anything would have been better then the sound of my whistle that looked like it was used on a baseball field.

Well, I learned my lesson and although the session went well and we accomplished our goals, I do know that for this particular group, I will also be remembered as the Whistle blower!!

Everyday and in every session, I always learn something and it helps to keep me growing and getting better and more innovative all the time. When I returend home, I threw the whistle out!
