Even though we had stayed in touch, life as we know it for busy people is that you see your friends and colleauges less frequently then you would like.
Last year I was presenting at a major bank to a group of college interns who were beginning their careers and were learning about "Transitioning Into the WorkPlace" and "Effective Business Networking".
One of the attendees was Julie’s daughter, Kaitlyn.
When she went home that evening and mentioned to her Mom that she met someone ‘like her’–and that her handouts were in the living room–Julie then said, " Andrea and I know each other!"
Fast forward, Julie was instrumental in having me present recently at her organization and she also attended the program.
That night as a special surprise, Julie, her daughter Kaitlyn and I all had dinner together at the wonderful restaurant, DelMonico’s.
Here we are after a great evening.
Again–this all happened with one of those ‘connect the dots’. You often don’t know how every meeting can be a great opportunity and lead to wonderful outcomes!
