Big Apple Greeters –18th Anniversary Recognition Breakfast

Images
To really experience New York–take advantage of the wonderful organization, Big Apple Greeters which which was founded in 1992 by Lynn Brooks who is an amazing woman who had a wonderful vision and tenacity.

The mission of Big Apple Greeters is to enhance New York City's worldwide image and enrich The New York Experience by connecting visitors with knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers.

Just in  the past fiscal year, the Big Apple Greeters welcomed 7,000 visitors to New York City and more than 80% came from outside the U.S.

Today was their 18th Anniversary Recognition breakfast where they honored John C. Liu, Comptroller, The City of New York; Paul P. Mak, President and CEO -Brooklyn Chinese-American Association and Joseph Briller, Greeter of the Year (who has been with Big Apple Greeters for over 17 years!)

It was so great to be in the audience this morning and attend this terrific event.
