It is hard to believe that my wonderful Mom, Molly passed away over two years ago.
A day does not go by that I don’t think of her and want to pick up the phone and have one of our multiple daily chats. Today was her birthday and everywhere I went-she seemed to be right there with me.
It was interesting also in that I spent part of the day with my dear friend Vicky Amon-who I have worked with over the years and who runs her consulting firm "Building People Asset" and is a real pro in every sense of the word. Her dear Mom, Judith is in an assisted living facility near where we were having our client lunch and we visited her. I had never met her and it was so nice to see that happy expression on her face as soon as her daughter walked into the room.
It reminded me so much of my own Molly and how no matter what–she always had that look and smile when I walked in as with my brother and sister and my wonderful Dad—we were always the most important people in the world to her!
I know she is continually to look down with a smile and a smirk–(you had to know her) and when we lose someone we love, it never gets easier–it just becomes different.
So Happy Birthday Mom–I’m thinking of you and know you and Daddy are celebrating up in Heaven!
