How great to get a note in the last week (on Facebook) from Ray Slyper -on the right who I knew years ago from the direct marketing industry–when I had first called on her when she was the Executive Vice President of Lillian Vernon Catalog Company and I was selling advertising space.
Her husband, Mike Bryant is someone I have always admired in the Direct Marketing industry and I called on him and he has always been the "mailing list broker to the stars." –and still is!
Both are truly wonderful people and it was so terrific to catch up with them and of course with Lucy and Percy–their beautiful cats.
After having grown up myself in the Direct Marketing industry for a large part of my career, Ray and Mike are truly two professionals who clearly are top in the business. Now in her very successful consulting business for many years, Ray gives her clients strategies for improved circulation and performance—so take a good look at the next catalog you receive.She may very well have worked on it!
Through their love of scuba diving, bird watching and photography, their travels take them literally all over the world and the pictures are truly breathtaking!!!
What a wonderful reconnection for me to catch up with friends and again–I call this a true Facebook success story!!
