Starbucks Gives Back to their Customers

Coffeeshop_2 Today all Starbucks stores gave away free 12-Ounce cups of coffee from 10 a.m. until noon to thank their customers for their patronage. This "coffee break" as they are calling it, is a great way to garner publicity and to show that they are focused on their customers. As a stock holder in Starbucks, I am glad to see that they are doing great marketing and building solid, successful business relationships.

“Our free coffee break is about surprising and delighting our customers and cost is not really a factor,” said Carter Bentzel, regional marketing manager for Starbucks. “We feel everyone deserves a coffee break from work, and this is a way to enhance their customer experience at Starbucks.”

It’s fantastic to see a large corporation taking the time to re-establish relationships with their customers…take the opportunity to take your own clients, connections and friends for a cup of coffee and make it a habit. That is powerful-networking and relationship marketing.
