Two weeks ago, I spent a wonderful week on a mission to Cuba. After having experienced this wonderful island and learning so much on our 24/7 culturally rich trip–all I can say is that it is truly amazing.
The people, their way of life, the culture, the art and the history occupied our total time as we traveled throughout.
Here I am standing by one of their 'modern' cars. It is interesting to look out during their rush hour and to go back in time to see only cars of the 50's.
As I said to one of my friends, it is a beautiful, yet disturbing place or as one of our guides said, Cuba is both graceful and crumbling at the same time.
I look forward to my return visit and taking in more of this very rich and moving part of our world.
I have many pictures that I'm happy to share–and this was one of my favorites.
This must have been an amazing trip. The people must be so creative to keep their cars running so long…and to continue to get their products and services when they are so cut off from the rest of the world.
I’m wondering about health care there too.
