Today would have been my wonderful Mom's 86th birthday. Molly was truly one special lady.
She always said it like it was, you knew where you stood with her and she had a heart of pure gold.
I miss our daily calls no matter where in the world I was and she was always there asking 'How are you doing?" and 'Be careful"–her motto! She was always on the go and every morning until the end, she read her Wall Street Journal and followed the market–something she and my father shared through their whole life.
Here is a picture taken two weeks before she passed. We are here with my sister, Meredith and my friends Gary and Lee who came over to spend the day. Gary and I met freshman year in college… so it was a few years ago!
I know that my dear Mom is now one of my guardian angels along with my Dad, Paul-who was also one of the best men who walked the earth. ( I know that I am prejudiced–I hope you are too with your parents.)—- If you are lucky enough to still have them with you, make sure to give them an extra hug every time you are with them.
